Stems are straight, branched, 15 to 100 cm high, forming pyramidal bushes. The lower leaves are opposite, the upper ones are alternate, from lanceolate to elongated-oval. The flowers are large, irregular, double-lipped, simple or double, collected in a racemose inflorescence. The coloration is white, pink, yellow and bi-colored. Blooms from June until frost.
